Millions of Peaches...
It’s not often that an e-mail can make my mouth water, but every year a particular message makes its way to my in-box and next thing I know, I’m hungry and looking for a snack.
Rochester Area Youth for Christ has been selling fantastically delicious
Colorado peaches for 8 years. A few
years ago they added Colorado pears and this year they are trying something new;
Georgia peaches will be arriving on July 7th.
(The Colorado fruit makes the scene toward the end of August.)
Now I LOVE these peaches, but unless you have plans to freeze or
can them, you need to find a friend to share the love because the fruit is sold
only in a full lug. That’s around 20
pounds of fresh peaches or pears friend, but SO worth the effort!
The fruit sales are one of Youth for Christ’s main fund raisers
for the year, helping to fund things like campus impact ministry, concerts,
Supernight and the weekly Sunday morning radio show on 106.9 KROC FM.

Wonderful peaches that we look forward to each year. Will you respond to my e-mail when the peaches are in or should I just appear on the 22nd of August? One lug please.
