Obama to open campaign office in Rochester

Sen. Barack Obama will open a presidential campaign office in Rochester over the weekend as the Obama campaign readies its ground game for the November election.

According to a press statement by the Obama campaign, the office will be used by Obama staff and volunteers to spread and strengthen its grass roots campaign. The Rochester office is one of nine that the Obama campaign has opened throughout the state.
“The office will be used as a sort of regional headquarters for the campaign to organize our neighbor-to-neighbor efforts,” said Nick Kimball, a spokesman for the Obama campaign In Minnesota.
