Rochester's Hillary nutcracker goes national

Rochester has a reputation for its brainprower. It's given rise to Mayo Clinic, IBM and the fastest computer ever. Now there's a new product that Rochester can claim as its very own. It's called the "Hillary Nutcracker," an invention of Rochester businessman Frank Freeman, the 15-year owner of the Little Bear Trading Post in the Apache Mall. The 9-inch-high, plastic likeness of Sen. Hillary Clinton was recently named one of the top 10 "stupidest" holiday gifts for 2007 by the Web site Stupid.com. Just in case you were wondering, the No. 1 ranked stupidest gift was " Mistletoe to Go," an arrangement that comes with a suction cup that attaches to your forehead.
Freeman, who must be hearing ka-chings ringing in ears, recently called the nutcracker a "very intelligent product when you think about it."
"You got to be tough to take on the tough nuts. I think it will become a pro-Hillary product."
