New sandwich shop + downtown Roch. skyway

Urban StackOne crumb of business news sandwiched in the middle of very, very busy Rochester City Council meeting last night (Good job with that all of the coverage, Jeffrey Pieters) was new eatery in the Doubletree Hotel skyway.

The agreement with the city shows a new sandwich shop to be called Urban Stack being sliced out of the existing Starbuck's space as well as lunchcounter and seating being added in the actual skyway passageway.

It looks like the skyway, which is now 12 feet across, will narrow to about 9.5 feet. That's the width of the skyway from University Center across Second Street to the Lanmark Center.

I expect I'll have more on this soon.
