KTTC / Fox news folks move on

It has been a quick three years.

KTTC Talent 2-5-08 In Feb. of 2008, I wrote about a bunch of a new fresh faces in front of the KTTC and Fox news cameras in Rochester.

And now at least two of those still fresh faces with more experience are moving on this week.

KTTC's Steph Anderson and Fox's Ali Lucia is packing it up and heading out of Rochester.

I believe today is the final one for both of them.

Congratulations on a job well done to both of you.

I know CJ Spang and Crystal Ohko both left last summer so that means at least four of the five in the picture have left.

I really liked Steph Anderson for weekend weather but you cannot blame these young professionals for moving on. It's the nature of being in a small market...you are always bringing in young talent to only see them leave for bigger/better opportunities in larger markets.

Jen Hoff was another great talent on the weekend news and she also left last summer for Lexington, KY.

I really liked Steph Anderson as well.I will definitely miss her.I don't usually watch Fox 47 but the few times I did see the news over there I thought Ali Lucia was very good too.I wouldn't be too surprised if she lands over at Fox Sports North.I know that she has done some hockey games for them and is pretty knowledgeable in the sport.I really wouldn't mind seeing some of this young talent sticking around and pushing out the veteran newscasters. There definitely is some of them that should be replaced.I guess we should not get to attached to the new people they bring in cause almost all of them end up leaving once their contracts expire.
