El Gallo opened in that space when Baja de Sol closed in 2006 or so. I believe El Gallo has been under a couple owners.

2 words. La Poblana

2 thumbs up for La Poblana!

I was just by El Gallo yesterday and they were open. And Poblana is really NOT a restaurant - it is a small grocery store with a lunch counter.

@Jessica - so?
They have awesome food.
Everything made fresh.
They serve food.
Sounds like a restaurant to me!
