John Hardy's + ex-Roscoe's @ Cedarwood
I realize this is already common knowledge. Many people have posted comments or sent me e-mails about John Hardy's Bar-B-Q opening a third Rochester location in the restaurant building in front of the Cedarwood Square Plaza.
I'll just chime in and say, 'yeah, that's right.'
That's the spot vacated by Roscoe's Barbeque Rootbeer and Ribs at the end of May.
I have been trying to contact the good folks at John Hardy's for a few weeks on this. Most of the employees say they do not know any details. One manager is aware of the plan, but has been very busy.
Hopefully, I'll get the meat on this one before it burns on the grill.

It's interesting that while most companies battle their competitors for market share, Roscoe's willingly hands theirs over to John Hardy's.
Must be some real dandies over there managing Roscoe's.

I'm VERY happy about this... the other two locations are always so crowded whenever I go. In my humble opinion, John Hardy's beats Roscoe's hands down, so this is good news to me - I'd rather lose a Roscoe's than a John Hardy's.

For me...it's the sauce. Just like the Hardy's sauce better. Not that Roscoe's is bad, just not as good...to me. Does John Hardy's even attend competitions?

Well, now we will have 3 undersized John Hardy's. I guess I can't complain, it's closer to home.

If John Hardy goes in, I'd be happy to go there. Hope they will take care of it too!
Plus thing, Drive up!
I love their food, but the place here in NW is just getting old and run down...

The drive thru will be a great asset!!! especially since it is always packed inside at both locations.
