After nine years as a popular stop on U.S. 52 between Rochester and the Twin Cities, Tilly's Tavern in the Lake Shady/ Oronoco area is closing its doors at the end of April.

That sucks. Now there are only two things you can buy in Oronoco. Antiques, or an RV.

Speaking of US52 icons, the Edgewood just south of Canon Falls appears to be closed and is up for sale.

Hard to get into. When they cut off direct access it was like you needed GPS to find it.

Edgewood's been up for sale seems like forever. Never been able to tell if open or closed.. Even before being for sale I don't recall it ever looking busy...
