Texas Roadhouse + Roch. update

For those out there asking about Texas Roadhouse plans in Rochester, here's an update:

In November, Texas Roadhouse, a family steak-and-ribs restaurant chain, confirmed plans to move into Rochester’s Miracle Mile Shopping Center.

Since then, no construction work or cattle drives have been seen on the south end of the mall that faces Second Street Southwest, near Mayo Clinic.

 That end, known in Rochester lore as where Lyle at the Mile was, is where it is expected to fire up the grill.

“We are still planning on Texas Roadhouse coming to Rochester. Looks like it is going to be 2010,” drawled Roadhouse spokesman Travis Doster this week in his call to answer my query.

I'm still having trouble picturing where this will go. I think Lyle at the Mile may have been before my time here.

The signs are still up where Lyle was. Its the side that faces 2nd street.
