CiCi's cooking along
CiCi's Pizza is firming up in south Rochester.
Bob Yanish , one of the three owners bringing the franchise to Rochester, also has the Perkins Family Restaurants here.
The price will be $5.49 per person. Kids younger than 12 will pay $4.49 to eat. CiCi’s serves 15 types of pizza including macaroni and cheese pizza, spinach alfredo, barbecue and buffalo chicken, along with the classics like pepperoni.
Yanish hopes to start serving in the 4,285-square-foot restaurant around mid-January to early February.
He will own the restaurant with partner Kyle Wurgler and Eric Witthoeft, who will be the general manager and minority owner.

That is better than fast food prices and all you can eat! cant wait!

I went to the one in Eagan... I'll admit it was good value for the money and a good place to take the kids, but certainly nothing gourmet. The kids were easily thrilled with the bland mac & cheese pizza though (probably because it combined their two favorite foods).

I can't wait. I've been a fan of CiCi's for a couple of years now, making sure to visit locations while in vacation in Ohio and Kentucky as well as visiting the local one in Eagan. Of course, with a local restaurant, it won't carry the same uniqueness as it has up til now.

When will our Cici's open?

Anyone know what's going in next to CiCi's? I was driving past there last night and saw a sign that said "Opening Soon".

I believe you saw the sign for the 2nd Barbershop location. Jeff had that in his blog not that long ago.

Thanks upnorth!
I must have missed that one in the previous blogs.

No problem. I just happened to be looking for it myself the other day as I saw the sign there too.

Perkins South and CiCi's are very well run restaurants in Rochester.
I can't say anything about Perkins North as I have not been there in ages, but when I was at the South store 2 weeks ago the waitress was VERY efficient and friendly. Another waitress was cleaning her section by not just carpet sweeping but moving the tables, getting on the floor and using a hand broom and dustpan to make sure the dirt was removed.
That's taking pride in your work. And when you see that, you know that they are happy to work there.
