Book about IBM's creation of Cell chip

Book Cover_9.preview A book being released on Jan. 9 - the Race for a New Game Machine - purports to tell the behind-the-scenes story of "creating the Chips Inside the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3."

IBM Rochester played a part in the development of the Cell chip - "A supercomputer on a chip." Not to be confused with the "Supercomputer on your desktop."

Anyway, I'll have more on this soon and maybe a review of the book.

This sounds like a real good read. I like non-fiction.
