Jim's Auto tearing it up

Jim's Auto Care II at 625 N. Broadway in Rochester is demolishing the building where Jim Faulhaber ran a Texaco gas station in 1968. It later was a Mobile station and many other things along the way.

In 2006, Steve Faulhaber and Rhonda Albers, opened a repair shop and used car dealership there.

In March, Darrel’s Muffler Shop became part of the operation.

In February, Rhonda said the plan was to tear down the building and construct a new three-stall garage. A new building is already up behind the old one, but I'm not sure if more construction is coming once the old building is scraped. I'll do some more checking.
