Goodwill rising
The new Rochester Goodwill building is springing up quickly like so much other commercial construction in Rochester during these days of sunshine.

I spun by there Thursday and saw it had significantly moved along since was there last.
So expect Goodwill to move to the southside of Rochester sooner than later.

Thankfully the Goodwill found a decent location.
Otherwise, we'd be stuck with a blog post entitled "Goodwill Hunting"
(insert groan here. You know you wanna)
On a side note (pun intended), Any chance that the city will upgrade the street that Goodwill will be on and the street behind it that runs parallel to the side of the new Fire Station? There's a lot of traffic back there for a small space with emergency equipment and Goodwill shoppers there now as well.
In a perfect world, I guess it would be nice if the Old Navy parking lot would connect directly to the Goodwill lot, but with Eastwood Bank there, I guess that won't ever happen.

I was thinking that it sounds like a Springsteen song title, not to mention a Doors song

As a frequent driver on that road, I'll have to agree with Chris... it's in serious need of at least a paving near the 4way stop and resurfacing in a few other spots.

I may have missed it, has anyone posted what the building going up East of Shoppes on Maine at 48th St. SE will hold?
