Mayo parking ramp update
I was in the area of Fifth Avenue in Rochester this morning and I decided to check out the progress of the eight-level Mayo Clinic parking ramp going up along Fifth Avenue between First Street and Second Street Northwest, south of Hope Lodge. It is behind the Brentwood Motor Inn.

Here's the quote had from an April story:

"We need to add parking capacity as we add employees," said Steve Grosland, the project manager for the
ramp. "Eight levels is about as high as we go. No one really wants to drive in circles more than eight times."
The first pic is how it is today, the second is how it was in April and the drawing is how is planned to look next summer.

I gave them $12 today, parked in the Gram ramp. It is amazing what is considered a "compact" car. I know that my 88Accord is. That Toyota 4X4 SUV big as my Ford pickup is NOT! compact!!!

Yesssssssssssss that could come in handy at times.
Why do people always crowd the elevator? I mean this: I'm on the elevator and it stops at my destination, I need to get out. But the throng of "people" (insert card 2096 here) nearly push me back into the elevator. I just want to say "get the hell out of my way!" I did growl at the one woman to get off her phone.
I hate being at the hospital.
