Chuck E. and the Roch. mouse hunt

It may be cheesy, but many people want a Chuck E. Cheese kids’ pizza place in Rochester.

Over the years, reps of CEC Entertainment have said there is interest in coming here. So what about now?

"I have a list here of project locations with openings through March 2008. I do not see you listed on there," said Brenda Holloway of CEC. "They could be in talks, but we wouldn't be able to say until they got something concrete."

She did, however, find a potential location file dated Sept. 19, 2005. It was for the Crossroads Shopping Center in south Rochester. It was stamped "Dead Site."

I wonder how Walgreens has that area stamped?
