Pump and Munch + BP
The early word is that Pump and Munch – also known as Kato Inc. - in Rochester has acquired some or all of BP gas stations in Rochester.
I believe the station on Elton Hills Drive will become a larger C-store and will drop the repair of the business.
I'll check this out and try to fill up my tank with high octane information.
Sounds like they are going to give Kwik Trip a run for their money. Doesn't that roughly double the number of Pump and Munches? Still a ways to go to match the number of KTrips but still.

My understanding is that the BP at Golden Hill will remain under it's current ownership, but Kato will supply their fuel....My sense is Kato is NOT looking to be another Kwik Trip but will instead focus on a core area (Immediate Roch area) and try to provide a very tightly run, service oriented customer experience.
With Ken Mc. (from Face the Music) on board you can expect a unique retail expereince.
I think the store on S. Broadway at 16th will be the flagship.

Today is the last day for the BP on Civic Center Drive. They'll be pulling the fuel tanks and taking down the old coffee hut tomorrow.
