Kristen's Knits + moving sale
It looks like Serious Home Theater is not the only Rochester store in the midst of a moving sale.
Two of my eagle-eyed spotters - Mick King and Jim Miner - sent the tip to me that Kristen's Knits at 1137 Second St. S.W. also has a moving sale going on.

Not sure what the story is there, but I'll ask and pass it along.
I remember when the Kristen's Knit banner was put up over the La Parisian Beauty Salon signs.
Kristen's opened in February of 2004 with Kristen Chan and her mother Marie Dokken as owners.
Here's some from what I wrote way back then (pre-blog):
Chan says the 1,300-square-foot store at 137 Second Street S.W. that she owns with is centered, literally, around her family.
She was taught to knit by her grandmother Anna Beachem. When her grandmother died, Chan decided that the tradition of knitting needed to passed on.
As a symbol of continuing on the skein of learning her grandmother started, Chan has her grandmother's dining room table at the center of her store.
"That's where people learn. That's where she taught me," Chan said.
The store offers classes and has open knitting night on Tuesdays. It also offers crocheting class. Kristen's sells designer knitting yarn, needles and gifts for knitters. It has six people on staff.

Jeff,
Did Kristen's move again? I thought I saw a sign for Kristens outside the Psychic place next to Just Rite.
