Apache Mall a Wi-Fi hotspot
Here's the latest Apache Mall update from Cheri Milligan. It appears the Rochester mall is now a wirelesss Internet hotspot. I'm not sure when this started, but I bet it will have a good number of users.
Here's some from Cheri's press release:
Long known as a shopping hotspot, Apache Mall is now a hotspot of a different sort as its Food Courts is now a Charter Wi-Fi HotSpot where visitors can use their computers to log on to the Internet while taking a break from shopping.
Apache Mall’s Food Court offers Internet service via wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), providing connectivity for computers enabled with Wi-Fi capabilities. The service, provided by Charter Communications, is free for all shoppers.
“We want to be at the forefront of what our customer wants – and so, here we are, going wireless so that our visitors can check in while they are out shopping,” said Cheri Milligan, marketing manager for Apache Mall. “It makes sense to add this amenity to the shopping center. Rochester residents are very tech savvy and we want to be certain that they find everything they need right here.”
“We are excited to provide wireless service to the Apache Mall," said Becky Ross, Public Relations Manager at Charter Communications.
