Downtown Roch. Home Fed/Eagle Crest branch open
It sounds like the new 2,200-square-foot Home Federal Savings Bank/ Eagle Crest Capital Bank branch in Rochester is open (a "soft" opening) in Suite 200 of the 100 First Avenue Building along the skyway connected to the Galleria shopping center.
This new branch was designed by Hammel, Green and Abrahamson. It looks very sophisticated with lots of dark wood.
The space was last occupied by an Eastwood Bank branch, which closed in June. Home Federal is returning to downtown with this opening. It had a small branch in the Galleria, which closed in 2002.
This is a full service branch paired with an Eagle Crest Capital Bank office. Eagle Crest is Home Federal’s private wealth bank for high net worth people.
The branch will be managed by Angie Rustad, a former accounting manager with the Mayo Foundation. This is Home Federal’s fourth Rochester branch and Eagle Crest's second Rochester branch.
