Olmsted Medical names new chief administrator
Here's a quick piece by Jeff Hansel on the Olmsted Medical Center's new chief administrator:
"Olmsted Medical Center is pleased to announce that it's next Chief
Administrative Officer will be Mr. Timothy Weir," a statement from OMC says.
Dr. Noel Peterson, Olmsted President and CEO, said Weir is a native of
Fargo, N.D., and received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Minnesota. He has a master's in health administration and a master's in
business administration, both from the University of Iowa.
Peterson said Weir has held high-level administrative positions in
Massachusetts, Illinois and North Dakota, where he worked for The Dakota
Clinic.
He is currently vice president for Ambulatory Services at Baystate Health
System in Springfield, Mass.
Weir fills a vacancy left after former Chief Administrative Officer Kevin
Pitzer announced in June that he would leave Rochester.
