A 13-story luxury apartment complex proposed by Rochester and Twin Cities-based developers would transform the neighborhood just west of Saint Marys Hospital.
The project would cost more than $100 million and include 310 apartments, 49 townhomes, retail and commercial space, and a parking garage that could have as many as 900 parking spaces. If it moves ahead this summer, it would be the most significant private development to date in the Destination Medical Center development area.
Learn more about the project, its impact on the Saint Marys area, and what it means for Rochester and DMC at our next Post-Bulletin Dialogue, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Rochester Public Library auditorium, 101 Second St. SE.
Joining me for 90 minutes of chit-chat about the project will be a top executive from Twin Cities-based Alatus LLC -- either Chris Osmundson or Bob Lux, a City Council member (possibly Mike Wojcik), a few neighborhoor residents and possibly a DMC official.
Post-Bulletin Dialogues are monthly public meetings about issues in the news. Check back here for more details on who'll be at the front table.
