Wabasha is Not Flooded
Rumors have abounded that Wabasha is under water. And as with most rumors, this is completely false. The Wabasha businesses and attractions are open and ready to welcome you. Our Main Street is not flooded and our parks are dry and beautiful. Our river may be a little high, but it has not rolled into the town or hampered the wonderful going-ons in Wabasha. The National Eagle Center is still holding shows with the lovely Harriet. Lark Toy’s is still churning out fudge which is much needed after playing their new re-greened mini golf course. Music is still being held under the bridge this Friday with Seven Rivers Jazz Band (free of course). Strawberries are ready to be picked and fish are ready to be caught. And life in the bluffs is the same as is it every wonderfully, gorgeous day… dry and perfect.
So grab your favorite flip-flops and head on down, over, up to Wabasha. We promise your toes will stay dry!
