From my print column Saturday, introducing you to Son of Paywall:
In January, we relaunched PostBulletin.com with a new look, easier-to-use features, easier-to-find videos and photos, improved search and more. At that time we decided to leave the website open for an introductory period.
Hopefully you've had a chance to click around and explore the improvements. As of Tuesday, we're going to restart the process of limiting access to nonsubscribers. If you're a P-B subscriber, you'll continue to have unlimited access to the website, but you'll need to reset your password. This is true even if you previously signed up for online access -- sorry about that, but we changed contractors, which means you'll need a new password.
If you're not a subscriber, you'll continue to have access to the homepage. section pages, weather, obituaries, photos and multimedia, classifieds and other ad content. You'll be able to read up to seven stories free every 30 days, but after that you'll need to subscribe.
All the details are available on the website in an FAQ file at www.postbulletin.com/metering.
If you're not a subscriber and want to sign up, call 285-7676 or 1-800-562-1758. You can also order an online-only subscription by calling that number.
Thanks for reading and making us a part of your day.
