More on Kettle status

More on the Salvation Army:


Current Red Kettle portion of our 2012 Christmas Campaign:  $286,070
Goal:  $400,000
Percent to goal:  71.5%

Annual Campaign Goal:  $1 million
Current total:  $702,537
Percent to goal:  70.2%

Compared to last year (2011) Annual Campaign:  +$23,000 overall

We are slightly ahead of last year, but behind our stated 2012 goal.

Total number of volunteer bell ringers in 2012:  1,401
Total hours of volunteer bell ringing in 2012:  7,449

Today, Monday, December 24, is our last official day to ring the bells and have Red Kettles placed around the county.

We will accept cash, check and credit card donations at our Community Center main office through December 31.  20 First Avenue NE in Rochester.  507-288-3663 with questions.

We serve Olmsted County residents in need through various Salvation Army social service programs such as Caring Partners Adult Day Program, Castleview Apartments, Good Samaritan Health Clinic and Dental Clinic, weekday lunches and dinners, seasonal children & family toy drive and distribution events, Channel One Food Bank distribution point and so much more.
