We'll have a story up shortly on how an administrative law judge already has dismissed Jan Throndson's election complaint against the Post-Bulletin. The judge, in an order of dismissal filed Wednesday, said Throndson's beefs with the P-B have no basis as a violation of statute.
"The Rochester Post-Bulletin was reporting on the death of an apparently beloved former President of the Rochester City Council and the effect his death would have on the upcoming election," the order says. "It was legitimate and important news. The articles did not amount to advertisements or editorials on behalf of Mr. Hanson in violation of" statute.
