Here's a note about an unfortunate juxtapositioning of news and advertising:
I would like to draw your attention to last night's PB; February 21st. Specifically page A6.
I find it ironic and frankly a bit tacky that the article titled "Man who fell from 16th floor of hotel is glad he doesn't remember it" is next to an extremely large ad for a liquor store. Pretty tacky in my opinion. I realize ads are the major source of your income and layout of the paper is perhaps challenging. But really, putting a liquor store ad next to a story about a young man who was so drunk he doesn't remember falling out a window. Tacky..just tacky.,,
Maybe I'm the only one who noticed the placement of the article next to the ad. I just think one or the other would have been located in better places.
Tough to disagree -- in an ideal world, we would have headed this off.
