Just read your article about the best shrimp in the area. You'd be missing the boat if you didn't tell your readers about Ralph & Mary's in Pepin, Wis., It's a bar, but they have the best batter-fried shrimp around.

I wouldn't want to miss the boat, so here you go. I'm a habitue of Pepin, thanks to the marina, the Pickle Factory and the Harbor View, so I need to broaden my horizons and check out Ralph & Mary's.

The Four Stars of shrimp will be harvested in the Tuesday, Aug. 30, edition.

Finally, someone has gotten it right! We have be going to Ralph and Mary's for 40+ years and besides the best Saturday night shrimp on the Mississippi/Lake Pepin, they have the best Friday night fish fry and great hamburgers. Good home made food and great people own it!
