PHERSY AND FATIS SHOW: Back off the bench edition
PHERSY: OK folks, we're back at it. I met up with Ice Hawks coach Nick Fatis today for an update on his condition and to find out what's going on with the team.
Fatis returned to the bench last Sunday and the team put up a pair of touchdowns in a 14-0 blasting of the Maple Grove Energy.
Now the bad news ... coach was ejected by the kind ref Shean Macfarlane. And because it was his second EJ of the season, coach has been suspended for two games by the Minnesota Junior Hockey league. So coach Fatis will not be on the bench for this weekend's games.
We talk about the suspension, his condition, last weekend's games and this weekend's games in this week's Phersy and Fatis show. We kept it to 15 minutes (felt like 2 hours), so enjoy!
And don't forget ... 7:05 p.m. Friday, the league-leading Northern Lights will be at the Rec Center and the Ener-kitties come back to town at 5:35 p.m. Sunday. Fill the Rec this weekend! (PS - coach and I talk about making our broadcasting debut for Sunday's game at the Rec Center ... thoughts? LOL!)
Here's the show ...
