Three Rochester teams take the ice today, including two in games that could have a big impact on the Big Nine Conference standings. Century is the only team not playing tonight; the Panthers are off until Thursday.

When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Albert Lea City Arena
Records: Mayo, 8-1-0 Big Nine, 11-6-0 overall; Albert Lea, 7-4-0, 9-8-1.
Coaches: Mayo, Lorne Grosso; Albert Lea, Roy Nystrom.
Last meeting: Mayo beat Albert Lea, 6-2, on Dec. 22 at Graham Arena. Mayo scored four second-period goals. Matt Rogers and Adam Alcott had two goals each for the Spartans.
Last game: Mayo lost to South St. Paul, 2-1 in OT, on Thursday; Albert Lea lost to Owatonna, 6-1, on Thursday.
Game notes: A Mayo victory will give it sole possession of first place in the Big Nine. An Albert Lea win would move the Tigers into a second-place tie with Mayo, one point back of conference-leading Owatonna. … Grosso and Nystrom are among the top-five winningest coaches in Minnesota high school hockey history. They played on the same line at the University of Minnesota. … The Tigers are led in scoring by senior F Levi Hacker (17-16—33).
