Once tours are offered, I encourage anyone around town to take a look. (If you're a taxpayer you definitely should.)
The most striking feature is the use of natural light -- classrooms have windows even into the hallway to spread sunlight. It would also be worth it for parents/grandparents/guardians/etc. to see a Smart board in operation. The days of the chalk blackboard are far, far behind us.
Programming note: Someone asked, "Why post links to stories that are already uploaded to the paper's Web site?" It's a good question. Since the Web site doesn't have an education tab, I want to provide one place where people can find all of our education articles.
