Studio Academy news coming soon

A crucial moment is approaching for Studio Academy, an arts-focused high school in Rochester, which faces an Oct. 1 deadline to prove it is on sound financial footing or face closure.

DroppedImage-1 At one point earlier this month it looked like the school was in the clear, and I even teased in a blog post that a story was coming soon. But it appears that things have not been finalized the way that insiders said they would be at that point, which is why I haven't filed anything yet. Under normal circumstances I would have filed a story anyway to update the situation, but let's just say there's been more than enough to keep me busy lately at the Rochester school district.

Anyways, look for something later this week on what's going on at Studio.

OK, it's been over THREE weeks... is it "later this week" yet?

Could you at least mention the articles in the blog to provide subject continuity for your readers? All the related information in one place helps with the chronology of the issue.

I happened to be traveling over those dates. I'd like to be able to look at the original blog post and link to the articles you mentioned, especially since you had stated that there would be more info later in the blog.

No one is going to follow a blog that is stagnant.

If you say more info is to follow, it is assumed it will be in the same place you originally mentioned it. The search engine online is horrid and not reliable to actually return related information. (Yes, I know how to use it.)

Jeff Kiger does a great job of keeping his blog topics and articles linked,as well as frequent postings on his subject matter. Maybe you could pick his brain a little, as he has been blogging for quite some time.

I know you are newer to this blog. Maybe it will come together in time...
