Big winner at Treasure Island will be a band

Treasure Island Resort & Casino is giving six bands a chance to win cash prizes and a contract to perform at Treasure Island’s Parlay Lounge. 

Online voting narrowed the contestants of the Treasure Island’s Battle of the Bands 2010 down to the top six bands:
Arch Allies
Blurred Vision
Jam Factory
them Pesky Kids

On Saturday, Nov. 27 the finalists will perform live for a panel of celebrity judges including Terri Traen and Brian Zepp from KQRS, Adam West from K102 and Weasel from 93X. The judges will select the next big act for Parlay Lounge. Audiences will vote for a fan favorite to win $500.

Lost Highway, last year's winner, will open the performance at 6 p.m. Lost Highway performed several times this past year at Treasure Island. One of the highlights included opening up the August Island Fest for country superstars Clay Walker and Hank Williams Jr.

Admission $10. Open to all ages but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
